Arrival and departure dates are counted inclusively. Overlapping travel dates are counted only once, and open trips run to the selected reference date.
Arrival and departure days
A trip from 1 to 10 April contains ten calendar days because both boundary dates are included.
Overlapping and open trips
When two confirmed trips contain the same calendar date, StayLimit counts that date once. A trip without an end date is calculated up to today or the chosen reference date.
Rolling periods
For a rolling window, StayLimit evaluates only the dates inside the relevant period. Older days leave the window as it moves forward.
What the result means
The result helps you organise travel records. It does not determine whether a border authority will admit you or how it will classify a particular stay.
What to check
- Enter every arrival and departure date completely.
- Confirm the country and applicable rule for each trip.
- Check visas, residence permits and exceptional agreements separately.
- Compare important results with official records.
